I do apologize that the FAQ hadn't been taken care of before my other tasks—I'd been trying to prioritize them based on existing player needs, and in order of most frequent concerns (like changing the bottom page directory and the links list to make existing & new pages more accessible). I guess what I'm saying is, I'd done most of those tasks first because they'd been the most frequently requested when I had the downtime to do them.
Hopefully it's easier to parse now, and I'm going to make a point to keep it cleaner and updated with more urgency.
Since we've got some sort of silly plots scheduled as our next ones, I will see about switching it around and setting out one of the more war-based, battle-driven ones instead to shift our focus back to the revolutionary aspect of the game. You've got a good point in that, and having gone back and looked at our most recent plots, we could definitely use ones that have a bigger impact on the game's premise as a whole. I'll talk to everyone else about it and see what we can orchestrate in that vein.
As far as the last bit of the premise that you've pasted goes, re: the ultimate confrontation, that's meant to be endgame. Rather, all of our missions will ultimately lead to the Final Resistance as a major plot event culminating in the game's wrap-up and close. That's not to excuse our current lack of battle-based missions, but I could change a few things to make at least that part a bit more explicit if there were any concerns there, too.
We hoped, with the addition of the mission requests, to give players an opportunity to take part in more missions that were suited to their own likes and dislikes within the game and hopefully that, too, will alleviate some of the slice-of-life feeling that's been taking place and give people the chance to do more war-based missions if they wish.
I'm glad to hear that we've improved, and I hope that you will continue to feel that way. There will always be room for improvement and I always intend to take concerns to heart to help build and improve the game for everyone. It's a trying task, but this game means a lot to me and my moderators and I appreciate all of your feedback with utmost honesty. I never intend to sound flippant, or defensive, or as though I don't care—and I worry that my first reply might have come off that way, so I apologize wholeheartedly and thank you for taking the time to bring this to me.
