Hello there. :D This sounds like an excellent idea, and it could actually do us some real good in the long run in pushing forward with our overarching plot!

He could definitely do that! I'll swing this by my plot mods as well and we'll get a discussion going on what sort of information he'd be able to pick up and share. It will probably be after the events of the current plot that we can discuss it in full, but I will definitely shoot you a message around then and make a note now so I remember!
