Small Group Missions
Mission Request form last updated 08/19/13.
These are missions for groups of two to eight characters (though there may be some flexibility on that character limit).
Do you want some unexpected forced bonding time? A group training exercise? Here's the place to get that! By requesting a Small Group Mission, you will be given an opportunity for your group of characters to be sent on a mission by the Initiative. These missions will be small in scale compared to the game-wide missions -- a game-wide mission could change the tide of an entire war; these missions will often be seemingly inconsequential, but could potentially have long-reaching effects.
Perhaps your characters will be sent to the French countryside in 1723 with the instructions to raid a carriage and steal a small wooden box inside of it, or to the Reconstruction-Era United States with the instructions to find a certain man and invite him to a bar with the purpose of getting him so drunk that he passes out, or to simply walk into a library in Egypt and collect several scrolls. But perhaps that small wooden box contains an important treaty that is being transported to be signed. Perhaps that man is, in fact, a US senator who will now be late and miss out on voting on a new law. Perhaps those scrolls were housed in the Library of Alexandria and only days away from being destroyed in the fire.
When assigning missions, we will be taking factors such as the size of the group and the particulars of the kind of mission you, as players, want to see your characters on. The more specific you are, the better we can meet your needs!
Solo Missions
Solo Missions are much the same as Small Group Missions, but are undertaken by a single character. You have the option of writing out a solo log about the mission, or simply handwaving it. These missions can be used for character development purposes and/or as a way to explain your character's absence when you go on a hiatus. Please state exactly what you want your character doing for this mission.

Character skillset:
• ALLEN WALKER:
Allen is shounen-strong, with a claw that can cut through anything and a magical prehensile cape (gross) that can generate ribbons that act like webbing, and he can blow shit up with energy blasts. Other skills include cheating at poker, being a clown, and mimicking the mannerisms of a Victorian gentleman. His weapon allows him to punch things real hard.
• ARYA STARK:
Arya is good at killing, snooping, killing, stealing, killing, sneaking and making people do shit for her by power of cute. Her weapon is very very good at sticking people with the pointy end. And killing.
• OZ VESSALIUS:
Oz is observant and clever, with a knack for knowing when people are lying. He can be quite skilled at manipulating people to get what he wants out of them while leaving them none the wiser. He's not much of a fighter but does have highly destructive powers to use when the need arises, including but not limited to a giant scythe and razor sharp floating chains. He's really short and he looks like a ten year old, no lie. His weapon is geared towards... ferrying stuff around.
• TYKI MIKK:
Skills include hoboing, smoking, poker-playing, tallnes, and being a serial killer. He has the ability to choose what he can and cannot interact with, which translates into INTANGIBILITY and the ability to walk on water and reject the all the air from a space to create a vacuum. He also has a bunch of flesh-eating butterfly golems living in his body that he can summon on command, like any sane individual.
• LENALEE LEE:
Speed-of-sound fast, can jump stupid high and kick up hurricanes/kick things in half, has a good right hook, knows some field first aid, and her quarterstaff is nice for winding people if you get 'em in the gut.
• XERXES BREAK:
He is good at gathering information and drawing astute conclusions. He will use whatever means at hand, including force and trickery, to interrogate subjects. He is resourceful, and has a knack for popping up unexpectedly behind the scenes. He's fast and strong. His weapon is a sword, geared towards direct assault.
The main ability he needs to hone is TEAMWORK! His weapon is difficult to manage if he's alone.
(They all need to hone teamwork.)
Preferred Location: The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Preferred Time Period: THE 90'S.
Preferred Mission Objective: THEY'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD. At least Allen, Arya, Oz and Tyki are, initially. The mission objective should probably be something simple and completely straightforward. Like, retrieving an obvious item from somewhere in the park. Whatever it is, they'll fail spectacularly at it.
And then back in Exsilium, Oz's Initiative weapon (THE SENTIENT WAGON) bangs on Break's door until he and Lenalee are sent to the past to go help them out. If that's doable! If not, then Break and Lenalee can come along right off the bat.
Expected Mission Duration: Dunno; they probably won't be gone from Exsilium more than a day or two, but they might be in Florida longer...
