I am really sorry for bothering you guys again, but I had a question. Basically, as seen in Lelouch's last network post, he's poking around trying to get some grasp of how many transports there are/which worlds they're from/times of arrival and disappearance/that kinda crap. I didn't think the mods would have that sort of information lying down in a handy spreadsheet or something somewhere (at least, not the dates of appearance and disappearance), hence why it's glossed over as OH, THE INITIATIVE ISN'T VERY HELPFUL ANYWAY in his entry, so yeah.

... My question basically amounts to this: if Lelouch actually did approach an Initiative person asking about this info, what would he be able to learn? I sincerely doubt that he'd get all of the info of like, everyone's real names or whatever, but perhaps just raw numbers (this would be easily obtainable from the taken character list, both in terms of how many different dimensions there are represented and how many transports from each) or... maybe? Or maybe the information is currently classified/unavailable/people are too busy to help him?

EDIT: Also adding that. It wouldn't make sense for them to have only the current numbers but not the past numbers (i.e., past taken character counts) along with dates of appearance and disappearance. Which again is why I glossed it over. So I. Really don't. Know. Exactly. What he'd find out here. Maybe those other records are absent?????

Yes, the Initiative would be willing to share the information with him! You've pretty much got it right there, they'd be able to give him numbers of transports, numbers of worlds accessed, how many from each, and that sort of taken character page info.

And in terms of characters no longer present, since we don't really have an OOC record of that, we'll tie it into the tag system. All characters under the generic 'dropped character' post were logged into the system before a fully comprehensive system had been created, so there's record of them but no real organization to it (IE it can be ICly dug through, but it would take some time).
Characters with the † in front of their name were logged in the system as soon as they accessed the tablet (thus characters that never tagged/posted are unregistered and not in the records), and it's as easy to access that kind of information ICly as it is OOCly, as long as you know where to look (and the Initiative would be happy to show him the system for it). They wouldn't outright give him, like, a spreadsheet of appearances/disappearances, but this system would have all that information in it available for the digging up.

Does that sound alright, and is there anything I missed in that?
