Even if there's no extensive cross training, would there at least be some basic training in other areas? Self-defense, first aid, etc?

In the same vein, would there be opportunities for employees to utilize Initiative resources/materials on their own time to teach themselves other things? (Even if it's only in theory and not in practice.)
