2230, the People's African court. Mislabeled, it's actually the upper echelons of power that have fancied themselves to be similar to courts of ages long past, and who fancifully run themselves like one, only under a united council rather than a monarchy. With Africa being on an upswing, considered a breadbasket and source of plenty for the world, it's all the more important for people to get in their good graces.
However, what you're doing there is working on behalf of a smaller group affiliated with the Turkish Republic. And your job is to start laying down hints of the upcoming issues some thirty years out, which primarily means convincing important figures in the People's African court that they need to curry India's favor... and make strict trade alliances with Turkey.
Finding documents and incriminating letters -- a quaint way to escape the ever present possibility of technology scamming and information stealing -- may help this mission progress. Be cautioned! Sword fighting, particularly with rapier, has been taking up popular attention as a sort of flashy way of defending the honor of a claim, of one's family, or of one's business.
Or, as it will be shown in this case, of one's ipso facto business partner.
THE FALLOUT:
This lays the groundwork to helping push back the timeline and severity of the attacks that otherwise followed 30 years later, by forming reasonable chances for trade and open communication generating bonds between the PA and Turkish Republic's grasping hands. It will not ultimately stop this, but many more lives will be saved, and India's threatened attack may indeed never fall, with the war coming to a conclusion without massive land and life loss.
THE NOTES:
I vote Anne is the one who has to fight for Nash's honor. But that's me!
