In September of 1913, Rudolf Diesel, German inventor and mechanical engineer, was lost overboard from the steamer Dresden. The consensus of his biographers is that he committed suicide, but homicide theories abound, and no one can be sure.
Your mission is to prevent Rudolf from going overboard, monitoring him and keeping him alive until the steamer reaches Dresden. As it turns out, this was not a suicide attempt, but instead a murder attempt by competitors wishing to put him out of the picture in order to better pursue their own goals using the design of his patented engine.
THE FALLOUT:
Rudolf will learn the bank accounts are not in such dire straits as he believed when funding from a private source comes forth upon his arrival in Dresden, securing him a contract in furthering the development of the diesel engine. Technological leaps happen with greater speed when he' able to shift perspective and oversee the continuing development himself.
never excused never!!!
