NOTE: Exsilium is closing; these applications are for anyone who would like to join us for end game events. If you are applying for a character you have previously played here and application guidelines have been updated since you last applied, you may use your old application with no edits.

Please email your application in its entirety (not as an attachment!) to exsilium.applications@gmail.com. As of November 14th, 2012, you may only apply for one character during an app round!

There are a total of four responses that you may receive in reply to your application: a request for revisions, an accepted notice, a declined notice, or a request for clarification. If you are declined, a reason will be given. You will always be allowed to re-apply for a character if you have been declined, but only during another application cycle. Players are limited to applying for a character a total of 3 times. If your application for a particular character is declined 3 times, you will have to wait an additional 3 months before applying for that character again.

Please be sure to write Character Name | Character Canon | Reserved/Not Reserved in subject line of your email. If you are submitting a challenge application, please also include CHALLENGE APPLICATION in your subject line. Please review the FAQ for a description of our challenge application process. Below are some examples of previously accepted characters into the game, to give you an idea of what we are looking for.

Please read the RULES and the FAQ before applying for a character. You may also want to take a look at the current characters on the RESERVATIONS page, as well as the characters who are already TAKEN.

NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS FROM A CANON BY NARITA RYOGO: Due to an in-game plot, the world of Baccano! after 2002 has been blocked from the reach of the Initiative's technology. As the author's canons take place within the same universe, this also effectively blocks the 2003 novel(s), Durarara!!, the Etsusa Bridge series, and the modern-day arc of Vamp!. (However, any canon point before 2002 may be chosen.) This is NOT a permanent block, and in-game plots will eventually open these canons again to be applied from.
